Symphony of Science

I heard this on Jarvis Cocker's radio show on the tragically-soon-to-be-no-more 6Music.

"If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe."

Brilliant.

  1. Is this not one of the most glorious things you've ever seen? A good poem functions sometimes in the same way as physics wishes the universe does: central, unlocking concepts all errupting from the central point of metaphor or conceit.
