The Dead by Billy Collins

  1. Wow. Very moving. He's a wonderful poet. He doesn't rely on flashy imagery or complexity. He's straightforward and relies on simplicity of message and clarity of voice.

    Powerful.

I recently read a similiarly morbid piece by Seamus Heaney describing a famous bog mummy called "The Graubelle Man" -- http://www.poetryconnection.net/poets/Seamus_Heaney/17782
